Founded in 2000 in Santa Cruz, California, Blue Lava was born out of the love for surfing and skateboarding. What kind of started off as a members-only surf club, Blue Lava quickly became a rider-owned and operated company.

We wanted to create a brand that reflected our daily lives in and out of the water. What we didn't want to be was some corporate machine that stamped out garbage but rather a company that hand-crafted every product we made. Fast forward 24 years and we continue to design, create, and produce everything under one roof.

We still surf. We still skate. Blue Lava 'til we die.
