Product Information

Pre-order items are items that we do not have currently on hand but can be purchased in advance for when they come back in stock.

- Since we produce everything in house we work hard to meet the Pre-Order demand.
- When you order a Pre-Order item we will be following up with an approximate date when the product go into production and ship.

Of course! Online shopping can be difficult and occasionally your measurements can fall between sizes. We can help you no matter what your sizing question may be. Submit your measurements through our Contact Form as well as the item(s) you’re interested in or hit us up in the chat box below.

We do not currently have a storefront to try things on. However, if you feel you're in between sizes then order both sizes and you can always return what doesn't fit or give it to a friend.

Each product has an inside label with detailed care instructions. Please follow these specific instructions as they are tailored to each individual garment and will ensure its longevity.

Blue Lava testing has shown that:

For BEST results: wash with like colors in cold water and tumble dry on low, or air dry.
For WORST results: drag thru puddle behind car and run it over. Air dry on roof rack.

Returns

Thank you for shopping with Blue Lava! We strive to ensure your satisfaction with every purchase. In the event that you need to return an item, please review our Return Policy below:

ELIGIBILITY

- Returns are accepted within 15 days from the date of purchase.
- To be eligible for a return, items must be unworn, unwashed, and in their original condition with all tags attached.

EXCLUSIONS

The following items are not eligible for return:
- Undergarments and swimwear (for hygiene reasons)
- Items marked as final sale
- Items purchased using a promotional discount of 50% or more

RETURN PROCESS

- To initiate a return, please contact our customer service team in the chat box below within the 15-day return period and we will get on it.
- Please provide your order number and the reason for the return in your inquiry.
- Our customer service team will provide you with a return authorization (RA) number and instructions on how to proceed.

RETURN SHIPPING

- Blue Lava will provide a prepaid UPS Return Shipping label at a rate of $5 which will be deducted from the total amount of items returned. For example, if your total amount returned is $50 your refund would be $45 due to the cost of the UPS Return Label.

REFUNDS

- Once we receive your return and verify its eligibility, we will process your refund.
- Refunds will be issued to the original form of payment within 7-10 business days from the date we receive the returned item(s).
- Please note that any shipping charges are non-refundable.

EXCHANGES

- We do not offer exchanges at this time. If you need a different size or color, please return the original item for a refund within the allotted return window and place a new order.

DAMAGED OR DEFECTIVE ITEMS

- If you receive a damaged or defective item, please contact us immediately in the chat box below and we will get this resolved immeditately.
- We will provide a prepaid UPS Return Label for the return of damaged or defective items.

FINAL DISCRETION

- Blue Lava reserves the right to refuse any returns that do not meet our Return Policy requirements.
- We may adjust our Return Policy during holiday seasons or special promotions.

Shipping

Given that all Blue Lava items are made to order, processing time varies from 3-5 days not including ship time. We need 1-2 business days to pack and ship your full order.

In order to qualify for free UPS Ground shipping, total purchases must exceed $150 before tax.

NOTE: A notification in your cart will be displayed once FREE SHIPPING has been activated.

PROCESSING TIME

- The processing time for all orders varies between 3-5 business days. This processing time does not include shipping time.
- We require 1-2 business days to pack and ship your full order after it has been processed.

ORDER PLACEMENT

- Orders placed after 5:00 PM PST on Friday, or over the weekend, will be processed on the following business day.
- Please note that our processing time begins the next business day after the order is placed.

SHIPPING METHODS

- We offer UPS Ground shipping to accommodate most orders with the exception of Hawaii. For orders going to Hawaii, we utilize USPS to help mitigate the higher costs.
- Shipping options and their respective delivery times will be displayed during checkout.
- We do not offer expedited shipping. However, if this is something you would like to do feel free to hit us up and we can make that happen.

DELIVERY TIMES

- Delivery times vary depending on the shipping method selected and the destination of the package.
- Once your order has been shipped, you will receive a tracking number via email to monitor the progress of your delivery.
- You can also click here Order Status to check the status of your order. The link is also located in the Main Menu.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING

- We do not offer International Shipping. However, if you would like to hit us up and make that arrangement we can totally make that happen. 
- In the event that an International Shipment is sent, Customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, or fees imposed by their country's customs department.

SHIPPING DELAYS

- While we strive to meet our processing and shipping timelines, please understand that unforeseen circumstances such as extreme weather conditions or carrier delays may impact delivery times.
- If your order experiences a significant delay, please contact us in the chat box below and we will get on it asap.

ADDRESS ACCURACY

- Please ensure that the shipping address provided during checkout is accurate and complete. We are not responsible for orders shipped to incorrect or incomplete addresses provided by the customer.

ORDER TRACKING

- Once your order has been shipped, you will receive a tracking number via email to track the status of your delivery.
- You can also log in to your account on our website to view order status and tracking information.
- If you checked out as a Guest or just want a quick update, the Order Status in the footer is also an option.
